Eleanor and Thor

Most of the time I grab my camera real quick in hopes to capture a certain moment that usually passes me by because I am too late. But this morning, these two just kept doing their thing. Eleanor has started following Thor around. She climbs up onto the couch and looks out the window with him as they watch and wait for their dad to get home. If I give her a cheese stick she makes sure Thor gets at least half of it. They snuggle and she has started throwing the ball for him and is getting quite good at it. I know I've said it before but I love that they have each other.
Also, we put our tree and decorations up. This baby will be here in 4 weeks and I am going to be ready. Eleanor loves it. She will be walking around the house and when she turns the corner and sees it she says, "Wow!" Likes it's the first time she is seeing it all over again. It's the cutest. The ornaments are slowing making there way higher and higher up the tree...I don't have too many breakable ornaments but I have been finding them everywhere.  Brandon was making dinner the other night and she dipped one of my gingerbread man ornaments into the flour bag and then licked it quickly yelling "MMMmmm!!!" right after. Yes Eleanor, I'm sure that tasted delicious. :)

Waiting for Brandon to get home for his lunch break.

18 Months

Eleanor is 18 months old today! I am so amazed by this little girl and everything she is learning lately. She knows most of her animals and is picking up on her colors quickly. She says a handful of words including, "Hi dada!", "Meow", "Purple", "Blue", "I know", "Bye!", "Puppies", "Bowl", "Pumpkin", "Hot"...and the list is growing by the day. It is so exciting watching her learn and pick up on things. She grabs her own diapers when we ask for one and runs and throws her old diaper in the trash and then runs back clapping for herself because she knows she did a good job. She runs to look in the mirror when we do her hair or put a hat on her. She gives Thor loves and pats babies nicely on the head. She gives the best hugs and kisses and high fives and fist bumps. She is going to step into her role as big sister like a champ. I can already see how much she is going to want to help. She puts her bath toys away, helps me unload the dishwasher and always tries to give babies their binky. When I am hanging clothes, she will stand there and hand me one hanger at a time as I need them. And although loading the dryer is so much faster when I do it myself she will gladly stand there with her hand raised in the air as I hand her one thing at a time to throw in. She is the best side kick I could ask for.

"Put your hands in the air!"

She loves her daddy.

The Last Month

Eleanor's new reversible coat. OMG. She is so cute.

Helping daddy in the garden.

Always chomping on tomatoes.

She spots planes and helicopters way before I ever can.

She is the biggest fruit lover.

31 Weeks.

She is so funny.

When my parents were in New York last month they went to Rice to Riches and got rice pudding. I was texting my dad about my favorite flavor and telling him that I wished I was with them. The next day I got a knock on my door and found this box on my porch. He had overnight shipped me a big container of rice pudding in my favorite flavor. Ice packets and all, still cold. I started crying because I thought it was so cute. My dad is so thoughtful.

Eleanor seemed to like it just as much as I do.

I am so glad they have each other.

Sitting at my desk one day and looked down to this cute face underneath...

Asher and Eleanor are almost the same size.
