Family Photo Attempt

Taking family pictures with two kids and a dog when it is literally freezing outside is basically impossible. So here is our one shot. Eleanor was adorable though and wanted to take a few more with me. She always wants to see them after too. Whenever I grab her and Harper at the same time she looks over at Brandon and says, "Daddy, take a picture!" I mean...how cute is that?

Happy Holidays!

Harper's Birthday Party

My little one year old! I made her birthday cake and if you saw the picture I was trying to copy it was a total fail. Haha. But my girls loved it, so I'm happy. We celebrated with both of our families and Eleanor ended up opening all of Harper's gifts. Luckily she didn't seem to mind. Joseph and Thor at the bottom crack me up.

Harper turns 1

Tomorrow my baby will turn one. She is still as Brandon calls her "our little tiny". She has filled our hearts and home with so much love I feel my heart might burst just looking at her. I'm going to leave this fairly short because the pictures speak for themselves and I can't even write anything about her without my eyes welling up.

I love you Harper. My little ball of light. Happy birthday sweetheart.

our little space

I took these photos a couple of weeks ago after decorating for Christmas. I love our little space. One day I'll have room to hoard more than two containers worth of Christmas decor but I love the little trinkets we have collected over the years. I'm going to try documenting our home more because I love it here.

This shelf sits in our kitchen.

Bottle brush trees are my favorite. I am going to try and collect them in lots more colors.

I got this vase at IKEA and I love displaying our pretty wrapping paper. Our holiday paper is stored elsewhere but I bring them out when they are in use.

Our first year doing stockings in our own home before heading to the grandparents.

Eleanor helped me pick out this ornament.

I love this garland I found for the office window.

Now if only I could put our presents under the tree without the girls getting to them.
