Donuts and Finals

Yesterday Stephanie came over to study for finals with me. She did more studying than I did. I decided to procrastinate until much later that night. She brought over tons of junk food and Brandon decided to make homemade donuts. Yesterday was Brandon's last day of break. He started school again today and will be done halfway through June and then we will finally get to go on summer vacations together! I feel bad for him. I am not even done with my finals yet and he is already starting up again. I will be done on Thursday though and then I am free til August!

He was so cute chilling at the stove working
on his donuts. :)

Happenings

Steph, Brandon and I walked to the store to get a few
groceries last week and had to stop on the way back because
the milk was so cold and heavy.

Brandon and I finished reading the first Hunger Games book
together and then went to the movie the next day. :) I
have mixed feelings on it. I love it and hate it at the same
time. We will be reading the second book though. I have to
know how it ends even though I heard it doesn't end well.

This last Sunday was Spencer's birthday and so we went to
Springville once again and had a BBQ. Brandon is helping
Michael with his homework in this picture and guess what?!
Michael gets his braces off on Wednesday! I am so excited for
him. I can't wait to see.

Ron made Oreo cheesecake and it was delicious!

This random dog trotted into our lawn while we
were playing volleyball and we decided to
throw it a tennis ball. She was so cute running
back and forth and putting it right at our feet.

Slowing down for the evening. I hiked up to the Y with my
friend Courtney that morning and got quite the burn.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Sunday was grandma's birthday! We all went over and spent the afternoon at her house. Ron made an Italian dinner. Pasta, Salad and lots of bread. It was delicious! He also made an angel food cake but I didn't get a very good picture before it was demolished. :) Brandon and I chipped in peanut butter and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

My dad took this picture on his phone but I had to add it
because they are the cutest!

Before dinner, Steph and Spencer humored me and let me take pictures
of them outside. This was one of my favorites.

There were so many of us, a few of us ended up eating on the floor.
My mom was completely content in doing so. :)

Birthday Party

Man, my family is going to be having a lot of cake! We just had a huge one for Easter that Ron made and yesterday, Friday the 13th was Ron's birthday. I made no bake cookies and my grandma made skor cake and three layer delight which were both delicious. Then Sunday is my grandma's birthday. I can't wait to see what Ron comes up with for that cake. :) They are always amazing.

I had to go outside and take pictures of the flowers. They are
so pretty right now.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Brandon and I spent it at my parents house in Springville this year and we had a lot of fun. Brandon and I made cupcakes with malt ball eggs on top and Ron like always went way out and made a huge chocolate cake with white frosting on it. He is a genius. Everything he does always looks amazing.

We all got to take a chocolate bunny off the top at the end and
he got Brandon the one with the soccer ball. :)

These look silly next to Ron's creation...:)

Good looking boys!

This was Joseph after searching forever for his basket.
He could not find it.

How could I not put this one in? My grandma is the greatest.

Brandon and my easter baskets...well sort of. Maybe next year Brandon
will officially have a basket. :)

Ron and his amazing cake.

We played outside. Joseph, Steph and her boyfriend Spencer stuck in the middle.

I had to work on my photography assignment as well on Easter and
the assignment was to create different types of lighting. This one
is called Loop Lighting. I had to post it because my husband is so
handsome. :) Anyway, goodnight!

It's A Wonderful Life

I have been meaning to give this blog thing a try but considering I can't even keep a journal, we will see how it goes. :) This will be more of a series of photos rather than writing. I am just going to recap a little and start from the beginning of mine and Brandon's story from our wedding day. We got married on August 12th of last year. Brandon and I have been married for almost eight months now. Our wedding and reception was beautiful. It was the perfect day. I told Brandon that I wanted to get a divorce so that I could do the whole thing over again. I'd marry Brandon again of course. :) We got married in the Timpanogos temple.

I love this man.

Our reception was at Sun River Gardens.
No one has a cuter dad than I do.

The day after our wedding, it was off to Hawaii. Thanks dad, for the best honeymoon I could have ever hoped for. I will never forget it. Brandon and I stayed on the island of Kauai, hands down my favorite island and our hotel room overlooked the beach that we were right on. Our days were spent by the beach, exploring the entire island, lava flows, laying out, relaxing, walks on the beach, snorkeling right next to the Na Pali Cliffs, tubing through dark tunnels with headlights, hiking in Waimea Canyon and enjoying island time, never wanting to come home.

Driving to explore the north side of the island and out shopping.

Since our honeymoon we have been going to school and working, keeping busy but still happy as ever. Brandon is going to BYU and he will be done with classes next week. As for me, I am at UVU and still have til the end of the month. Blah. I am ready for summer time and no homework. Three more weeks!
