Arizona

On Tuesday we had the pleasure of flying down to Arizona to go to Brandon's grandaddies house for his annual Christmas dinner. We were only there for one night and flew back Wednesday night but it was fun. This is the second year I have been able to go with Brandon's family and it's fun to spend time with them. I just took a few snapshots on the trip.

Getting ready to head somewhere more warm. :)

When we landed we dropped off our stuff and went shopping
for a couple of hours before dinner.

Their beautiful backyard where we ate outside.

It was a little chilly but they had lots of outside heaters
and a fireplace to stand by.

Boys playing pool downstairs.
Breakfast Wednesday morning at Crackers.

Kaori playing skee ball.

We went to Debbie and Chris's house after and picked
grapefruit to take home.

On the plane ride home I got to read while Brandon got
stuck in a very long conversation with the man on his
right. :) I felt bad for him. They talked the whole flight.
He was very chatty. It was a good trip. I'm glad to be
somewhere with snow for the holidays though. <3

Winter...ish

It doesn't really seem like winter here in Utah. We have only had one snow storm so far and since then it's been really dry. I have put up my tree though and have wrapped quite a few presents and Christmas music has been playing. I love winter time.

Our cute tree. :)

Our one snow storm so far. It broke branches off the tree in
our back yard.

Different candy canes are a tradition for us.

Just the beginning!

My favorite ornament that we got in
Hawaii on our honeymoon. :)
This is a project I did for my Digital Imaging class
this week. Stephanie let me take pictures of her for it.
Kind of fun. :)

Picture Post

My grandpa turned 73 this week. We went out to Ruby River Steakhouse and back to their house to have tres leches cake with blueberries all over it. :) Ron had to transport it so it was falling apart by the time we got to it but it was still amazing. And the sparkler candles were so cool. You can't really see them but they were a seven and a three.

This is the only cat I will ever actually hold. I am allergic but my grandma's cat Jimmy is the cutest.
I think he was meant to be a dog. He doesn't act like a cat at all.

Thanksgiving! Brandon agreed to do the turkey at my house this year and he put a lot of time into it. This makes me laugh because it was huge! I am so proud of my husband. He is quite the chef and it turned out so good. Best turkey I have ever had. We went to both of our parents houses this year so we were pretty full by the time we got to my parents but it was a lot of fun.

Finished product. :)

Ron made a bunch of pies. He always goes over the top and does an amazing job.

Brandon's brother Austin came home yesterday from his mission! That was exciting.
That made me miss Joseph even more. He's only three months in...

So we spent the whole day with them. We went out to eat in Salt Lake and went back
to their house and played games and talked. I have the cutest husband. :)

Five

Five more weeks of school...FIVE. I am so ready for it to come to an end. This semester has been long and grueling. I even skipped a class today. That can't become a regular thing. :) I spend all my time in classes which makes me realize how much I want to be spending time doing things I love instead. Once the semester ends, I have a goal to pick up my camera more. I have been shooting black and white film all semester and I need a change. The Voice was on tonight and I am in love with that show! I have also been pulling out the hot chocolate already and getting really antsy to turn on the Christmas music. I love Thanksgiving too though so I am trying to be patient...we will see how long that lasts. :)

Craig and Chelsea 11.01.12

I had the great privilege of going to Chelsea's wedding today. Her and Craig are so cute together and I am so happy for them. We went to their breakfast before the temple and then to the sealing at noon. They had a Cinderella carriage take them from the breakfast to the temple and it was so cute. :) If any of you know Chelsea you know that her and her family are obsessed with Disney. They had the cutest party favors on the tables too, little Cinderella carriages with kisses in them. I wasn't able to take very many pictures because there were so many people with cameras but I messed around with a few of the shots I took. Congrats Craig and Chelsea! <3 Love you girl.

Happy

These past couple of weeks have been fun. We had a halloween party at our house but I won't bother posting any of those pictures because I put them on facebook. Last week I was able to go shopping with Chelsea before she gets married on November 1st! So excited for her. :) Brandon and I went down to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkin to carve, my aunt Traci is in town from California and she came over to visit, Brandon and I went on our weekly Sunday walk, where he let me take pictures of him for my unending photo assignments, and Michael turned 17 on the 16th! I have the best brothers. It was so different celebrating something without Joseph. Good news though, he is leaving for Jamaica on Monday! So excited for him. :)

My favorite shot from our walk. :)

I love you Michael! I'm so glad you are my brother!

A Short One

Not a lot has been going on lately besides school. I had fall break this weekend but Brandon doesn't get one, so I didn't do anything too exciting besides go to work and lounge around. Brandon and I went to Addison's flag football game with his family. Also my mom and I went shopping for Michael's birthday tomorrow. I can't believe my brother is turning 17! Shopping with my mom is always fun. I'm excited for the rest of the week! Michael's birthday party tomorrow, a play date with Chelsea and a halloween party. :)
