TRAIN

We went to the Train concert on Thursday night and it was so much fun! Sadly, my dad had to work but Ron was able to come with us. We were very lucky and not only got to listen to Train but also Mat Kearney and Andy Grammer! I love when all the bands end up being good ones.

Waiting to get in.

They didn't have Train t-shirts last time we saw them in concert
so we were very excited!

Waiting for Train to come out.

When Mat Kearney was done singing, he threw
his guitar pick and it actually hit my mom in
the face! She was able to snatch it before someone
else did. :)

During the concert, they threw a few beach balls into the crowd and Ron caught one for Steph. At the end Pat Monahan was signing peoples beach balls that were at the front of the stage and as soon as Steph worked her way up there, his security guard escorted him off stage. She was pretty sad, but then as we were leaving people were crowding around a fence where the band was leaving and Pat Monahan was signing stuff for people as he walked. She kept trying to get in but the crowds were in the way and so finally she went to the end and pushed her ball through a bunch of people and kept saying, "Sign my ball!" When she pulled it back out, he had signed it!

She was a little excited. :) It got smeared but it's
still Pat Monahan's signature. :) I mean...
how could he not sign her ball? She is too cute.
It was a very eventful night. A couple right next to us actually got engaged, during the "Marry Me" song that they sang and then the drummer actually married a couple on stage after that said their relationship was inspired by Train's songs. That's not something I would want to do, but it was interesting. Anyway, I could go to Train concerts over and over again. They are always entertaining.
