Paris Extras

I tried to highlight everything with my actual camera but there were a few times when I was too tired to pull it out. So here are my iPhone shots from the trip. Because I don't want to forget a thing.

When I dropped Eleanor and Harper off at Brandon's parents house Eleanor asked for a picture.

France.

Tuileries Garden right across the street from our hotel.

It was really cool seeing so many paintings in the Louvre that I studied in college. Here are a few of my favorites.

I knew this one was massive. But it was MASSIVE.

Raspberry sorbet.

The restaurant in our hotel had this cute table with swings for chairs.

The best fruit, nutella and ice cream crepe.

After face timing my family. Bad idea. I couldn't stop crying when Eleanor said she missed me and wanted me to hold her. She was so sad. But look at this hotel mirror. It's outlined all the way around in light.

The Palace of Versailles.

This table had a replica of the palace and gardens inside. So cool.

Musee d'Orsay to the right which was where we were headed.

More of my favorite paintings.

The Opera House.

I have been through a lot of cathedrals between Ireland, New York and Paris. The Notre Dame trumps them all. You walk inside not expecting it to go up so high.

My favorite is the vaulted ceilings.

And these windows.

And the outside...

Found me a strawberry sorbet shake.

Waiting in line to go into the catacombs. This was the only long line we really had to stand in. It didn't even look that long but took over two hours because they only let a few people in at a time to space them out. But once you are inside you practically have it to yourselves.

They check your bag on the way out to make sure you didn't steal any bones...I thought that was interesting. If you ever go, bring a jacket if you get cold easily. You go down a lot of steps to get down there.

On the way back to our hotel you can actually see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the Louvre and so we sat down and waited for the 10 o' clock lights to sparkle because we didn't have to wait very long.

And we bought a million fun cookies to try at our hotel and opened them early for the light show.

This was one of the better pastries. We ate lunch on the steps of The Opera House before going in.

The view of Paris from Sacre Coeur.

We went inside as well.

Exploring Montmartre for a little bit.

Taking an Uber back to our hotel.

The biggest meal we ordered there. Pizza, Risotto, lasagna and tomato salad. Gimme all the carbs.

Oh Steph. So tired she passed out on the very edge/corner of the bed....haha.

Our room was beautiful. There is actually a single bed not showing in the photo but we all 3 slept in the king bed together anyway.

Goodbye room 1034.
