4th of July

Third year in a row we've held a 4th of July party in our yard. Brandon smokes or grills and everyone brings desserts or sides. I realized we don't have any family photos with this little old house of ours and definitely want it documented so we snapped a few photos while we waited for it to get dark. Then our neighbors across the street to the left and right (two different cul-de-sacs) put on huge firework shows for us and we watch for free. It almost looks like they are trying to one up each other and one side goes and then the other goes and we have really enjoyed not burning our own money.

We managed to get Thor in one family photo. Haha. He was too busy running around with the other dogs.

Harper decided to try and learn how to drink out of a water bottle and just drenched herself.

But wow I feel so lucky with this tribe of mine.

And then Asher got jealous and wanted to be held.

Seven years next month married to this man but we've sure been in love a lot longer than that.

We had a sprinkler going on in the back for the kids...this didn't take long. Haha.

My ride or die. We don't get enough photos together but that's about to change because we are headed on a girls trip Tuesday! That's right. No kids. I can't freaking wait. I might be tearing up right now I'm so excited.

Another Thor appearance.

Watching the planes/jets? go by for The Stadium of Fire show.

Harper with her great grandpa. I feel so lucky they are able to know each other.

Ron of course going all out with the cake.

Harper wouldn't stop putting her fingers in it.

Only part of our crew. My parents were still hanging out in the back.

Harper really enjoyed herself.

Eleanor and my mom.

If you want to look back on the last two years click here and here. Eleanor was such a chunky baby compared to Harper!

Saint George

We took a trip to Saint George a couple weekends ago as a last hurrah before Morgan leaves on his mission this week. The girls had so much fun even if it was hard to step outside in that 108 degree heat. We went to the pool with the girls a few times but usually as the sun was going down. Eleanor kept saying multiple times, "I love this house. This is a nice house." Haha. We'll be back when it cools down a little!

We found this swimsuit at Zara the day before we left and had to grab it although she doesn't need anymore. I wish they had it in my size!

Blowing bubbles.

We drove to Snow Canyon to take a few photos since Morgan will be gone two years. Missing Austin's family because they live in Japan.

I love how she is holding onto Christian's arm.

A few iPhone shots from the trip.

Eleanor with the boys.

Baby burritos.
