Lake Powell in September

I almost didn't make it to Powell this year. My family went when Eleanor was scheduled to get her two month shots and Brandon was busy with work and we decided to stay home. Our houseboat week almost came and went without us pulling it out and parking it somewhere along Bullfrog Bay. Joseph and Michael stayed home for school. But my parents, Ron, Steph and Spencer and my little gang were able to make it. I have been every year since I can even remember. Summer isn't summer without Lake Powell. We used to fit in five trips a summer which have slowly dwindled into one or two. I'll take what I can get. I love this place.

September is becoming my favorite time to go. The Lake is quiet, the water is lower and the beaches are sandy and more available for the picking. One last hurrah to summer.

My baby looks so big here!

Bath time in the kitchen sink.

This swimsuit kills me.

After Eleanor was born I ordered quite a few one pieces from different stores. I never want to be that girl on the beach in a t-shirt and shorts but my stretch marks are still fresh and I am not ready to display them in public. Maybe someday. I really miss my bikinis and my old tummy without all of these stretch marks. That has been the hardest part for me. Saying goodbye to what I used to look like. I tried Target, F21 and multiple ones from Asos. I kept these two which were both from Asos. If you guys are looking for one pieces, this is the place to go.

Hi Thor!

Smores around the fire. E loves any bag that makes noise.

I took some photos for Steph and Spencer this trip. These are just a few of my favorites. You can see more on Steph's blog soon.

E staring at the ducks. Have you guys seen the back of her hair? Well now you have. She is really working that bald line and mullet combo.

Thor strutting his stuff.

Eleanor sleeping on Steph.

Thor wanted to go into the gas station too.

She is ready to try new things.

If you guys are interested I posted a video on youtube of a photo sequence I shot of the sun rising. Link below. That's all.
