Ten Things

Brandon asked me if he could have one of my pumpkins off the front porch. And then he made a pie. He's the cutest.

I made pumpkin bread.

The cutest jewelry box I found at Target.

Steph snagged this mug for me at the DI to add to my mug collection.

Thor playing in the snow.

The BEST smelling candle. Because I love the smell of coffee.

My cute bottle brush trees perched on the window sills.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over here.

Wrapped gifts under the tree.

End of November

Thor sitting like a human.

I love this top. But I'm pretty sure me and this color are cursed. I just washed it and it shrunk I want to say 50 percent. I didn't even dry it. This has happened twice now. Both shirts were this color. :( I just ordered a Vneck from Madewell in this color and hopefully it doesn't do the same thing...

Every time Thor goes to my parents house.

Morning snuggles.

I can't get over how cute Thor is. I wish we could take him everywhere.

This poor little lady got three shots at her last appointment and her legs had bumps for days.

Whenever Eleanor is in the bath, Thor puts his paws up on the top of the tub to look at her and this was her expression back at him.

That smile!

That can't be comfortable...

Every time I lotion my legs she starts scooting towards the tub of lotion. I have to hurry and shut it before she gets to it.

Watching me do my makeup one morning. Such a happy little girl.

Prepping in the kitchen for Thanksgiving.

The only Thanksgiving day picture I actually took. Oops. But it's pretty cute. And hey, there's my husband! I promise we spend a lot of time together. He just isn't the biggest fan of pictures.

The cutest shopping buddy!

Makeup Routine

I am a big believer in splurging on good makeup. At least when it comes to foundation. Mascara and eyeliner you can buy at your local Target. I thought I would show you guys my favorite products and what I have found to work for me. I always moisturize my face before applying my makeup because I tend to have very dry skin. Once that dries for a couple of minutes I take my concealer stick and use it on any problem areas. Then I apply my foundation, highlighter and then bronzer. I do my eyeliner and mascara last.

Makeup Brushes: I have been using my Lancome brush from Dillards on the left for almost ten years to apply my foundation and bronzer. Is that gross? Anyway, the point is, it is still in such good condition and it is so soft. Worth every penny. The bristles never fall out either. I got a free kit of bare minerals brushes when I bought powder once and they are terrible. They are rough and lose bristles all over when you use them. I threw them away. My other two brushes are from Sephora. The middle one is the Multitasker complexion and I use it for highlighting. I decided to include my blush brush on the right although I usually only wear blush in the summer when I have more of a tan. That one is called the Must-have angled blush.

Powders: I use a Lacome all over foundation. My bronzer is from Bare Minerals and it is called Warmth. It has taken me a long time to find a bronzer that I love. I hate when they are glittery or have any sort of shimmer to them. My highlighter is Too Faced Candlelight Glow and I love it. I included another picture down below of when I first bought it. I have been using it for almost a year and it's still going strong. These products all last a long time.

I like to apply the lighter side of this down my nose and under my eyes to brighten them up. The blush I use more in the summer time.

And these are the products that I use that I find work just as well as higher end brands. Covergirl Lash Exact is my favorite mascara. The bristles are very short which makes it easy to apply without my eyelashes getting super gloppy and gross. I hate that more than anything. It also stays on all day without leaving residue on your eyelids after a few hours of wear. Revlon Colorstay liquid eye pen makes applying your eyeliner so easy and it lasts forever. I've had this stick for about 6 months already.

Let me know if you have any questions! Also, I am always looking for new products so let me know which items you love and can't live without! I'd love to try them.

All Grown Up

Is it just me or does this denim shirt make her look all grown up? Brandon and I went up to Park City last weekend and did some shopping and came home with quite a few new outfits for Eleanor. This shirt has to be my favorite though. We are buying all of her clothes a little big because I want her to wear them more than twice. I am having a hard time putting her in onesies now. At what age are babies too old for those? I've seen some in the store that are labeled 24 months and that seems like a bit of a stretch to me. I also got these cute bows on Etsy here

6 M O N T H S

Brandon and I were sleeping this morning and around 7:30 as the light began to seep through our window we heard cooing in the other room. The sweetest little sound. I got up and opened her door just a crack and there she was, wide awake and talking to herself.  So content. I watched her for a second without her knowing I was there as she took in everything around her. Then I pushed the door open and her eyes met mine and she gave me that huge smile. The smile she always gives us when we come and get her from her bed. My heart melts into a puddle every time.

Eleanor is 6 months old today. Her cheeks and thigh rolls are my favorite thing.
