Ten Things

Our little home in the snow.

Doughnuts for breakfast on Brandon's birthday.

Arcade prizes from Brandon's dad's work Christmas party. We all put our tickets together and got Eleanor something.

Umm...yeah. The arm above her head, that chubby hand resting on her chest, napping with her dad. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

Cakes from Ron's Christmas party. He is so talented.

Presents ready to take to our families for Christmas.

The tastiest caramel nut bar. Ron made tons of these as take home gifts from his party and they were all nestled in a Christmas tree.

You may call me a wrapping paper addict. I love my new vase from IKEA.

Sweater weather and pretty pastels.

My Little Family

So... I begged Brandon to take a family photo with me for a Christmas card for a while. A few days before Christmas we got all ready to take some and it rained and snowed all day. So we ended up doing it a couple days after that and it was so unbelievably cold that we had about two seconds to take it before I had Spencer run inside with Eleanor so she didn't freeze. So by no means are these perfect. Our outfits were thrown together because the shirt I wanted Brandon to wear had Eleanor's poop all over the sleeve, and Eleanor's top was super wrinkly. She also sucked on her bow the whole way over in the car and it was drenched. So in the first photo she isn't wearing one because it was so wet, then we decided to put it on her anyway so she didn't look like a boy but by that time it was so cold we have her wrapped in her blanket and Thor had lost interest...we were all over the place. Even Thor wanted us to pick him up and didn't want to be in the snow. That tells you how cold it was. I'm still glad we got something though. Maybe next year we will actually get cards out...and a better put together picture. I love my little family. It's been a good year with Eleanor joining us, both of us finishing school and buying our first home. Can't wait to see what next year brings.

Oh Christmas Tree

I grabbed my camera a few nights ago while Brandon and I were most likely watching The Office to snap a few pics of Eleanor. It's impossible to get super crisp pictures in the dark with her constantly moving but these are pretty cute. I am in love with the picture of her watching the TV with us on the couch with her finger in her mouth. Her little thighs kill me too. Next Christmas will be so much fun when she is up and walking.

Our house, in the middle of our street...

If you don't know that song, you should look it up because it's a good one. This is our house and we love it. We moved in at the beginning of October and I finally feel like we have settled in. We have little projects to do but I am excited for them. I love how smiley Eleanor is in all of these pictures. If you were able to hear what was going on on the other side of the lens, Steph was singing the same little song over and over again because Eleanor was getting a kick out of it. It takes me so much longer to go through photos and edit with her all over the place but luckily she is napping right now and I have some time. Yay for photos I can frame in our new home! All of our frames are absent of her cute little face.

7 M O N T H S

Eleanor is all over the place. She never sits still. This first picture describes her perfectly right now. She is sitting up all on her own, crawling and scooting all over the place and always pulling at our tree and squishing the presents. She opens her mouth wide whenever I feed her any type of baby food and cruises around in her walker. Her hair is finally growing back in and we cut her mullet in the back. She keeps us busy but man we can't get enough of her!
