Ireland: Part 2

County Cork was a maze. Once we drove into it, we could NOT get out! We asked so many locals for directions, it was crazy. So I included a few pictures of it in the previous post, but that was about all I took. That night when we finally found our way out, we found a place to stay in Bantry after driving all night in the pouring rain. The next morning we had breakfast at our hotel and then headed out to explore the Bantry House. This place was by far my favorite. It was beautiful. They use it as a hotel now but it only has a few rooms available to guests. We paid to take the tour and sadly pictures weren't allowed inside but even the library had secret doors for guests to their bedrooms. It was pretty cute. And the gardens and view out to the water were beautiful. After that, we traveled to Killarney and saw Muckross Abbey, the Muckross House and Killarney National Park.

Our Before and After breakfast hair. :)

The Muckross House

My cute mom holding all of our stuff while I take some pictures. :)

Took a break for some treats while it rained.

Killarney National Park. Everything was covered in moss and it was beautiful.

We stopped to explore this random castle that I do not remember the name of now...

Muckross Abbey. When we walked to this Abbey, we did not bring our cameras so these photos were shot with my iPhone. These pictures do not capture how amazing it was. The tree growing out through the middle of the abbey and all of the different hallways and rooms were beautiful.

Walking away from the Abbey as it got smaller in the background.

Back on the road...
