Lately

Lately, I have been spending a lot of time outside. Brandon has two weeks left of school and then he is done for the summer! I can't wait because we have fun trips planned! This last week Brandon and I hit some baseballs in Springville with Greg and Joseph, went to our favorite restaurant and went to see The Avengers with Steph, Spencer, my parents, grandparents and Ron. Today, Steph and I went to the reservoir and got red raspberry snow cones afterwards. The best! Then Steph tagged along with me while I took engagements for Erica and Chris. They turned out really cute! I am so excited for them to get married!

For those of you who don't know, I have two jobs. I work at Target and also work graveyard shifts at a place called The Journey. Steph works at The Journey and helped me get this job which I love! I now get to spend more time in the day with Brandon. Well I happen to be working a shift right now and I went to the closet to get out the log book and when I opened it up there was a note in the flap. It was from Steph. She had worked the night before. It made my entire night. I love that twin of mine! I don't know what I would do without her in my life. She is working tonight as well but we are in different houses and so we have been chatting through gmail for oh....just five hours now. :) I love you Stephi.

Dates, Parties and Sun!

I have been slacking on taking pictures lately but it's been a fun week. My friend Sidney, Steph and I took a trip to the Spanish Fork Reservoir to start on our tans, we went to our friend Brittney's bachelorette party and that was a blast! Steph, Spencer, Brandon and I have gotten together quite a bit lately. We went on a picnic earlier this week and today we walked to the Malt Shoppe from my apartment before we had to go to work. Brandon and I also walked to Kneaders a couple days ago and it was our first time going. We couldn't decide what to get so we got a few things to try. :) I love spending the day with my husband.

Mission Call and a Trip to Mesquite

Joseph got his mission call on May 2nd! He has been called to serve in the Jamaica, Kingston mission and leaves on August 29th. I am so proud of him. He is so excited to go. He doesn't leave til the end of summer but man am I going to miss him!

A few days ago, Steph, my parents, Ron and I flew down to Mesquite to look at the condo my parents got to surprise my grandparents with. My grandma and grandpa were at a golf tournament in California and on the way back they stopped in Mesquite yesterday and my parents showed them the surprise. We are all very excited. :) We went furniture shopping a few days ago down there and in St. George to find furniture for the new place and also went out to lunch. We had a good time. The plane ride there was very bumpy though and I got sick and threw up twice. Luckily the ride back home was smooth because we flew home around midnight.

Summer!

It's summer time for me now! The sad part is that Brandon is now back in school....I can't wait til mid June when he is finally done and we get to go to Lake Powell! Nothing too big has happened recently but I have been having fun. Courtney and I have hiked the Y twice already and plan to do it once a week. We will throw in a different hike every once in a while as well. I also went and hung out with some family at Kiwanis Park last week because my aunt Amber was in town. Carmen's baby Emma is adorable. Not going to lie, holding her makes me want my own baby! Then Steph, Spencer, Brandon and I went up to Salt Lake to check out the new City Creek Center which was fun but the mall wasn't as great as it has been talked up to be. :) So far summer has been great! I love having a break from school!
