California

We took a trip to California at the end of February and did three days of Disneyland and then headed down to San Diego and went to the beach. We broke up the drive the first day and stayed the night with my grandparents in Mesquite. We were gone a week but spent a couple of days just resting by the pool or in the hotel room because 3 of the 4 of us ended up throwing up on the trip unfortunately. Eleanor threw up before we left but it was a weird spread out bug. We all threw up different days and only once each, but wow it wipes your energy. There were still so many highlights from the trip. I actually made a vlog this time which you can watch HERE.

Eleanor's favorite Disneyland ride went from The Little Mermaid to Peter Pan. The second we finished the Peter Pan ride she wanted to get back in line and do it again. It is such a cute ride but also very short. Eleanor meeting princesses just can't be beat. She hugs them and doesn't let go. This trip was our first time checking out California Adventure because they had The Little Mermaid ride and Eleanor loved it in Disney World last year but we soon found out that was one of only a couple rides there that they were actually able to do. We will probably stick to Magic Kingdom for a while.

After getting to San Diego we checked out Seaport Village, grabbed our favorite Sidecar Doughnuts, went to the pool and took a trip to the beach with our sand toys. Nothing beats these special memories with my people.

Little birds along the water.

Collecting seashells.

The. Cutest. Houses.

And now for all my iPhone shots...

Downtown Disney beignets. So good.

The. Best.

This picture cracks me up. She loves Peter Pan but wasn't so sure about meeting Captain Hook.

She can spot a face painting booth from a mile away.

About to ride the teacups while Harper naps in the stroller.

Cheesecake Factory.

Harper didn't care to meet characters so much so when she woke up from her nap Brandon and her explored a store while I took Eleanor to meet some princesses.

I'm not kidding when I say they sat like this for at least two minutes. Snow White played with her hair and talked to her while she just hugged her as tight as she could.

She told Ariel all about how we were going to go to the beach and how we brought sand toys.

She had to show Cinderella her glittery shoes and they compared their "glass slippers".

Stopped at an Asian supermarket.

And also got Ramen.

Strolled around Seaport Village.
