Summer's End

We're back from three weeks of vacationing! I don't want to write a novel here so I am going to really summarize our trip. The first two weeks we spent with Brandon's family and went to South Carolina first for a day to visit family and then headed to Georgia next and stayed at Sea Island in condo's for a few days with a bunch of his family. We were right along the beach which was really pretty. After that we went to Florida with just Brandon's family and went to Disney World. We were there for a few days and then got home on the 6th. My family had already left for Lake Powell but my dad had to work, so we flew there with him the next day. :) We spent our one year anniversary there and Ron decided to make us a little cake resembling our wedding cakes that he had done for us. Thanks Ron! You are the best! Now I guess summer has to come to an end...depressing. I love the holiday's coming up though!

Moving, quitting and going on vacation!

This next month is going to be super hectic but I am really excited! We have to be moved out of our apartment by July 31st, but we are actually going on vacation starting on the 27th so actually in the next couple of days! We have started but still have lots to do. I didn't realize how much stuff you accumulate when you get married! It was so easy moving in. We now have two couches, a bed we have to take apart, a desk, a couple of tables, among tons of other things. We are moving all of our stuff to my parents house in Springville because we are going on vacation for three weeks. Once we get back we will try and find a place before school starts. So right now we are basically homeless. :)

I put in my two weeks at my night job which is really sad because I liked it, but there is no way I will be able to do it during school next semester. So my last night is on the 25th and then on the 27th Brandon and I are headed to South Carolina with his family and then to Georgia and Florida in the span of two weeks. The day we get home, we are off to Lake Powell for a week. Mmm, happiest place. :)

On a side note...Erica, Steph and I went swimming and ended
up going to the Provo mall afterwards. We found ourselves
having way too much fun in Sephora trying on make-up.
 It went from a little to putting on so much we looked like hookers. :)

 mole Steph added to her upper lip. :)

Lucky to Know You

Erica got married yesterday! She looked so beautiful and all of these memories started rushing back as she walked out of the temple. I almost lost it but I kept it together. I can't even describe how happy I am for her. Erica, thanks for being there for me. Especially while Brandon was on his mission. We had so many fun adventures! You keep me laughing every time we are together and I am so lucky to know you.

movie by myself that was popped in. :)

Busy Busy

These last couple of weeks have been awesome. Steph and I threw Erica's bachelorette party and went to the pool, then back to my house for presents, games and food. I am so excited for her. She gets married on July 7th! It's coming up quick. Brandon also had a soccer game today. He does every Saturday and I try to make it when I can. He usually plays goalie but he got to play field today and ended up pulling his hamstring. At least we think that is what happened. He is having a hard time walking. :( I hope he gets better soon. We also went to Lake Powell for a week and that was the best! I can't wait to go back again in August. I put so many pictures on facebook that I tried not to post them all on here.

Also, Happy 25th Anniversary to my mom and dad! Their
anniversary ended on the Saturday while we were at Lake
Powell just like mine and Brandon's will be during our next
Lake Powell trip. Not a bad place to be. :) I love you mom and dad! 

Carnival

One more day and we are off to Lake Powell! It has been way too long since I last set foot in our boat. I have been antsy all week and can't stop thinking about it. The only downfall is that Brandon can't join us until Wednesday. Wednesday morning he will be done with his finals and then he officially has the rest of the summer off! I can't even begin to say how happy that makes me. The rest of the summer is going to be really busy and full of trips and plans. I am really excited. 
Last week we went to the carnival in Springville with my family, and grandparents. We had scones, kettle corn and went on rides and had a lot of fun. I have the best family.

my head was going to pop. It hurt! We survived though. :)

Chris and Erica's Engagements

Erica, one of my best friends is getting married on July 7th! Her and Chris gave me the opportunity to shoot their engagements even though I am an amateur. It was a lot of fun though! They are so cute together and I love how these turned out! Congratulations you two!
