I am so excited for Steph and Spencer to get married! We went out this week and shot some engagements out at Utah Lake but plan on doing one more location...so part 2 will be coming shortly. Engagements are some of my favorite shoots because I love when couples interact and forget about me and the camera. These two are the cutest.

Baby Shower
Yesterday was my baby shower that Steph and my mom threw for me. They did such a good job making me feel special. They rented a cotton candy machine and Joseph was making fluffy goodness when Brandon and I arrived. Brandon helped in the kitchen and made delicious sandwiches for everybody. It was so good seeing all of my friends that I don't get to see very often anymore. Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with me! It really meant a lot.
He had cotton candy all over in his hair. :)
Steph had one of her clients make cupcakes for the shower and they were really cute. You can visit her website HERE.
My dad flew and picked up my grandparents from Mesquite so that they could be at my shower.
Can't forget this cute face!
We have the cotton candy machine for today too...so I am headed up to my parents to have some more.

Manic Monday
So...as some of you may know, Steph and Spencer got engaged a few weeks ago! The next week my brother Joseph got engaged to his girlfriend Chalyse. Lots of exciting things happening over here but also a lot of stress. Steph and Spencer's wedding will be around two weeks before this baby is due...along with right in the middle of my finals. I have so many projects to get done, I can't even wrap my head around them. These next two months are going to be a whirlwind. But Brandon and I are graduating! So this baby can't come early...even though I secretly want her to come just a little early. Just not while Steph is still on her honeymoon. I guess we will see what happens!
A quick pic I took for Steph and Spencer once they were engaged. I don't have one of Joseph and Chalyse yet but I am sure I will be sharing lots of engagement pictures of these happy couples very soon. They are going to be cute. :)
32 WEEKS
I've been asked where I buy my maternity clothes but at 32 weeks I am surprised with how little I've bought in terms of maternity clothes. My style involves more loose fitted shirts to begin with and they have carried me up to this point. The handful of maternity clothes I did buy are just sitting in my closet. The two things I can't wear anymore are my jeans and dresses. So I bought these maternity jeans from Asos that I love and a couple of maternity dresses on clearance from Target online. I've been sticking with my regular clothes other than that. I bought a pair of maternity leggings from Gap and it was a waste of money for me. The full belly band bothers me...I feel claustrophobic in them. Also, their smallest size runs a little big on me because I still have stick legs no matter how big this belly grows.
My other pregnancy essentials:
Mamma Mio Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil
I have applied both of these morning and night. Although I fully intend to get tummy stretch marks with 7 weeks left to go, these have helped keep them away so far. My fingers are crossed.

Baby Update
I never got around to taking my 30 week pic, so we are jumping to 31 weeks! This is so crazy to me. I am getting so close. I can no longer breath, my back pain comes on more than I like and sleeping is almost impossible. But we are...almost...there. Two more months to get even bigger than I already am? That doesn't seem possible.
31 WEEKS
Questions I have frequently been asked:
Do you have a name picked out for her yet? We have a couple in mind, but nothing set in stone. And no, I am not telling anyone what they are. You get to wait and see what we name her when she is born.
How much weight have I gained this pregnancy? So far 18 pounds and inclining quickly at this point. Baby girl still needs to put on 3 to 5 lbs herself! That scares me.
How big is the baby? According to my What To Expect app, she is already at her birth length! So around 18 inches long and weighing over 3 pounds. So at this point, she is just gaining weight and practicing the skills she will need once she gets here.
Also, I have bought basically nothing so far. We have a crib and a car seat. What are your mom must haves for newborns? I'd love to know some things you can't live without! Especially when it comes to brands, etc. Because this soon to be mom...knows practically nothing. Thanks in advance.
